Integration will enhance the existing digital ecosystem that allows doctors to go from intraoral scan to final 3D-printed dental or orthodontic appliance at the push of a button.
TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, FEB 11, 2020 – Structo, a dental 3D printing solutions provider and the manufacturer behind Velox – the world’s first all-in-one 3D printer – today announced an integration with evident. This newly-launched partnership will see Velox users gain access to evident’s suite of digital dentistry design and slicing services.
Conceptualized to be an all-encompassing system, Structo’s Velox is designed to empower dentists to deliver same day dental and orthodontic appliances chairside. This integration will allow Velox users to save time and money by outsourcing their design and slicing work to evident so they can focus more on revenue generating parts of their business.
“From the start, we had a very clear mission of simplifying and streamlining the digital workflow for doctors and labs alike with Velox. This includes everything from design and slicing to the automated print, wash and cure process in the Velox ecosystem,” explains Huub van Esbroeck, Founder at Structo. “With today’s announcement, we are partnering with one of the leaders in digital design to make that dream a reality.”
evident is a digital dental company that equips the world’s best dentists and labs with the digital tools they need to grow their business by offering new and innovative ways to design, manage and present cases. The design service is available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, and can leverage the existing digital capabilities in any practice or lab.
“We started evident to support companies involved in the digitization of the dental industry. This can range from labs that need extra digital design capacity to dental companies trying to develop recurring revenue models for their platforms,” says Paolo Kalaw, CEO of evident. “Today’s partnership announcement and integration with Velox is an example of that effort. We are proud of the vision that the Velox team has for the industry”.
Structo’s mission for the Velox is to continue integrating and working with industry partners in software and material sciences to provide a comprehensive ecosystem for chairside 3D printing that covers the entire digital workflow from design to final appliance for various applications. “The integration with evident today is another step towards establishing the Velox ecosystem that we envision for in-office 3D printing,” explains Huub. “Together with our partners, we believe we will continue to push the envelope of chairside 3D printing in dentistry.”

About Structo
You know it’s true. No other industry 3D prints like ours does. And yet most people are stuck with printers that weren’t even meant for dental. Aeronautical engineers are brilliant, sure. But they don’t know anything about dentistry. That’s why we reinvented 3D printing from the ground up. Our printers are made for molars, mandibles and malocclusion; for printing teeth at three-digit throughput; for making mountains of dental models without breaking the bank. Most importantly, they’re built for you, so you can build your dental business. From one digital dentistry company to another—you deserve better.
Dentistry deserves better 3D printing. For more information, visit www.structo3d.com.
